Rhian-Anwen Hamill

Rhian has spent over 20 years deeply immersed in financial services, especially wealth management, and family office executive search and leadership advisory. Since 2005 she has been the leader of RAH Partners, where she oversees all search, business coaching and family business consulting offering. 

​

On leaving Cambridge, Rhian spent the first phase of her career in investment banking in the Equities divisions of Goldman Sachs and Salomon Brothers co-ordinating delivery of strategic advice and equity research to some of the world’s largest asset management businesses, working in both primary and secondary public markets. She then co-led the establishment of a £125m world class national opera house and arts centre for Wales, the Wales Millennium Centre, taking it from initial idea to the final design and construction phase in close liaison with varied stakeholders, public and private.

 

An EMCC Accredited Coach, (Meyler Campbell, The Tavistock Institute, The Kets de Vries Institute), Rhian has a BA in English Literature from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. She speaks several languages and her mother tongue is Welsh; she has a deep love for the country. She has lived in the UK, USA, Spain and Switzerland. She is a Vice President of the Hay on Wye Festival of Literature and a Director of Cool Bananas, a Zambia-based family owned agriculture business. Previously she was a member of the External Affairs Committee of UWC Atlantic College, Chair of The Word, a literature Festival in London, and a Member of the Development Appeal at St George’s Chapel, Windsor.
